Melody Ann (Bailey) Fisher, 58, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2022 due to complications of liver disease. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born in Martinsville, IN on April 15, 1964 and graduated from Monrovia High School in 1982. She married Michael Fisher in 1985 and they had 3 children. In 1998, she and her family moved from Indiana to Papillion, NE. She retired in 2019 after 38 years as a Dental Assistant. Melody never met a stranger, making new friends wherever she went. She loved everyone and hated no one. Some of her favorite things were dancing with her granddaughters, singing along to the radio, snuggling her dogs, cooking for her family, and camping and traveling in the RV. Surviving family are husband Michael, her stepfather John Bailey, brothers Jeff Bailey and Michael Poe, sisters Angela (David) Crockett and Julie Lindsey, children, Brandon Fisher, Chelsea (Mark) Spielman and Salem (Michael) Shallenberger, granddaughters, Haidyn, Madisyn, Brooklyn and Adalyn. Parents-in-law Richard and Georgia Fisher. She is preceded in death by her mother Gladys (John) Bailey and father Connie Poe.
Informal Visitation will be on Friday, September 2nd from 5 to 7 pm at Braman Mortuary, 6505 S. 144th St., Omaha, NE 68137.
There will be a celebration of life in Indiana on October 1st at the Monrovia Festival building, 50 Walnut Street, Monrovia, IN 46157, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
