Mary (Dohmen) Pfeifer, 63, of Omaha, NE, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 13th. Mary was born and raised in Lindsay, NE, where she attended and graduated from Lindsay Holy Family, before marrying Greg Pfeifer and moving to Omaha, NE.
Mary worked 20 years for the Millard Public District Schools as a health para at Neihardt and Ackerman. Mary was the ultimate mother for her 3 children - Adam, Nicole, and Matt, and recently transitioned to a full-time grandmother for her 6 grandchildren. Mary was very active with her grandchildren, who loved to spoil them rotten by cooking and baking, gardening, and attending their various events.
Mary came from a large family where she was the 6th child of 8 siblings. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Jean Dohmen and her sister Doris. Mary is survived by her loving husband Greg Pfeifer, her oldest son, Adam (Mikala) Pfeifer and their children Mya (10), Payton (8), and Jace (5); her daughter Nicole (Kevin) McGovern and their children Mackenzie (8), Brooklyn (6), and Leighton (3); and her youngest son Matt; her siblings Donna, Eilene (Dave), Sue (Daryl), Peggy (Joe), Sally (Fred), and Mike.
VISITATION: Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 3-5:00pm, with a ROSARY at 5:00pm, all at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel)
FUNERAL MASS: Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:30 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (20500 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE)
INTERMENT: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Elkhorn, NE
