Martha grew up with four siblings and graduated from Clarinda High School. She worked at Central States for many years. Martha’s hobbies were spending time with her grandchildren, bowling and camping with her beloved husband, Bob. She enjoyed going to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and listening to her husband sing and play the trombone in the choir. Her joy was far reaching. Martha felt a strong sense of responsibility to God, family and friends; this was evident through her years of volunteerism at the Lutheran Family Thrift Store and support to Mission Central and Project Hope. She spent her last several years at an amazing facility, Ovation Heartwood Preserve.
