Towey, Marjorie Rowley May 1, 1921 - Sep 9, 2009 Passed away with her family at her side. She was born in Omaha, NE. She is survived by daughters Merryellen Towey Schulz (Leslie), Carol Johnston (David), Peggy Murphy, Dianne Constantaras (Andrew), son Dennis (Pamela), 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; special friends, Kathleen Johnson and Beth Harper, and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her parents, 2 brothers, one sister, and son-in-law, John "Jack" Murphy. Marjorie was a graduate of Burroughs Business School and worked for Northwestern Bell for 37 years until she retired in 1985. She was a member of Miller Park and Central Presbyterian Churches. She faithfully served as the chief writer and editor of her church newsletter, the "Crossroads" for many years. Marj also volunteered at ImmanuelHospital and the Omaha Community Playhouse. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, desktop publishing, traveling, attending plays, reading, and water aerobics. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11am Saturday, September 19 at Central Presbyterian Church, 726 S. 55th Street, Omaha, NE. A private family inurnment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the College of Saint Mary Swimming Pool, c/o College of Saint Mary Alumnae Office, 7000 Mercy Road, Omaha, NE, 68106.
