Marilyn Lee Kouma, age 92, of Papillion, Nebraska passed away peacefully on Saturday April 27th, 2024. Marilyn was born in Detroit, Michigan March 5th, 1932.
Marilyn was a sharp, hark-working, family & faith focused woman. Marilyn loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Red Cardinal Birds & crossword puzzles. Marilyn & James were married June 25th, 1955 & she worked for the USPS for over 24 years. Marilyn, friends & family attended the NCAA College World Series together every year for countless years & her name is engraved on a memorial wall at Rosenblatt Stadium. Marilyn knew everyone’s birthdays & anniversaries & enjoyed spending time with family & friends.
Preceded in death by Father & Mother, Lynn & Mary McKenzie, Husband, James Kouma, Daughter, Carolyn Rodriguez, Sister & Brother-In-Law, Meryl & Sebastian Nastase, Nephew & Niece, Richard & Patricia Nastase & many other extended family, friends & loved ones.
Survived by Daughter, Mary Lee Cunningham, Grandson, Sean Cunningham, Great Grandchild, Willow Cunningham, Sister-In-Law, Gladys Blatney, Nephew & Niece, Terrance & Carol Nastase & many other In-Laws, Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins.
