Being raised on the farm, Margaret exemplified the work ethic of her generation. She was a wonderful homemaker and also enjoyed home decorating. Just like her Mother and Grandmother, she was fascinated to plant and watch her gardens grow. Her gardens were inspiring and peaceful places for rest and relaxation. In spite of life long physical health issues, she always had the energy for tending to her garden and planning for the next growing season. She also was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed the squirrels and other wildlife in her yard. Penney, Margaret’s kitty and constant companion, brought her great joy.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Richard Harrison on November 16, 2015, her parents, her brother Larry and her sister Gertrude. Her survivors include Holly Murphy (Jim) as well as Wendy Cordone (Francisco). Also mourning her passing are her nieces and nephews.
The family will gather for a private service.
