He joined the military in 2008, right after graduation from Bryan High School in Omaha. A Christian burial service is scheduled at Braman Mortuary at 6505 South 144th Street in Omaha NE., 68137, with Pastor Mario Moreno officiating as Celebrant. A burial will follow at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd. In Omaha. Services are under the direction of Braman Mortuary. Marcos was born in Dodge City, Kansas, April 16, 1990, to Marcos Pete Mejia Sr. and Ernestin Mejia. He moved to Omaha in 2021. He loved his children and his family so much. His favorite NFL Team is Green Bay Packer, he never missed a game and made sure of that. On his spare time, he enjoyed cooking fried foods for his family. He enjoyed fishing with his children, nieces, and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father Marcos Pete Mejia Sr, his sister Amanda Liz Hernandez, his maternal grandmother and grandfather Cornelo Sr. and Ramona Martínez, and paternal grandmother Dora Mejia. Uncles Rudy Martinez Sr and Valdo Mejia and Aunt San Juana Martinez Plunkett. Survivors include his 4 daughters, Lydia, Abby, Flo, and Ernestina Mejia and 1 son, Axel Mejia, his mother, Ernestina Mejia, his sister, Adela Mejia, nieces, Rebbeca and Jennifer Hernandez, Adrianna, Leslie, and Aracelli, and nephews, Arturo and Marco Hernandez. And, great nephew Elijah Hernandez.
