Marcela C.Kells of Omaha, NE, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 21, 2021 at the age of 46, at Bergman Mercy Hospital. Marcela was born to parents Aurora and Eleuterio Benjamin Castillo on September 2, 1975 in Syracuse Kansas, she grew up as the eldest of 3 girls, and graduated from Garden City Senior high in 1994. In 2005 she moved to Omaha Ne with her husband and children. Many people remember Marcela from her work at Pizza Hut and Omaha Steaks, and as a stay at home mother.Marcela married Jay Kells her high school sweetheart on April 20, 1995, and they went on to have 4 wonderful children. Marcela was always about her family and volunteering in her children’s lives. She also loved to volunteer at Black Elk Elementary, and spending time with all the kids. She had the biggest heart and cared about everyone. She also had a unique and infectious sense of humor, and loved to talk with everyone. She will be forever loved , and never forgotten. Marcela is survived by her husband Jay, her sons, Devin, Jesse, Jay Anthony, and Aiden, her mother Aurora, and sisters Victoria, and Rebecca. She is proceeded in death by her father Eleuterio Marcela’s cremation took place on Wednesday November 24, and a celebration of her life and a gathering of her family and friends will take place on Friday December 10, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Her family appreciates all the love and support that everyone has shown for her, and them.
