Moose was born to the late Charles and Orlou Shepler November 6, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a rural mail carrier in Springfield where he was a life long resident. He leaves behind his siblings; Dan Shepler, Coleen Shepler, Dean (JoAnn) Shepler; niece, Danielle (Damien) Dempsay; nephew, Corey (Zach) Kain-Shepler; great nephew and niece, Landon and Aurora Dempsay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Springield Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department or the American Cancer Society.
Gathering of friends and family will be held 4pm - 7pm Friday, June 9, 2023 at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel.
