She often spoke of cherished memories of spending time at Rosenblatt Stadium with her dad. Louisa graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. She was deeply intelligent and a proud member of Mensa.
Louisa turned her compassion for others into a 40-year career with the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Her commitment to caring for others was mirrored in all aspects of her life, showing her generous heart to anyone in need, animals and humans alike.
Along with her passion for animals, Louisa loved Colorado's beautiful Rocky Mountains and was an avid gamer. Whether deep into a DND campaign or enjoying a round of Trivial Pursuit, she brought her sharp wit and infectious joy along for the ride.
Louisa was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louisa Pringle. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Kreie; grandchildren, Abby Kreie and Nick Kreie (fiancé Tyressa Qualls); and many loving friends.
