Stowell, Lois A. Lois led her life with a constant vibrant, energetic and fun personality. She had a great sense of humor and made friends wherever she went; easily bringing laughter and fun to the lives of those who knew her. She adored her family and friends, loved to attend Nebraska football games and enjoyed traveling. She was an avid pet lover and never passed up a chance to dance or sing a tune. Lois worked at Western Union as a clerk during WWII, at Lozier's and 11 years at Hyatt Reservations. Preceded in death by parents Russell and Anna Larson; husbands, Leonard Curd and Robert Stowell; brother Charles Larson; son, Larry Curdl granddaughter, Laurie Dean. Survived by beloved friend, Paul McDermott of Omaha; daughter-in-law, Bette Curd of Carter Lake, IA; grandchildren Larry Curd and wife Julie of Churchton, MD, Tim Dean of Carter Lake, IA; great-grandchildren Connor and Kellen Dean of Carter Lake, IA. Family will be receiving friends on Friday September 17, 2010 from 10am-12 Noon at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel). Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
