Lois D. Sawyer age 66 years, formerly of Omaha. Lois Diane Sawyer passed away February 15, 2012 in Sioux City, IA following a long illness. Born in Santa Rosa, CA to Norma and Ernest Winter in October 1945, the family moved to Osceola, IA where she grew up and graduated from Clark Community High School in 1964. She met her future husband Dallas Sawyer while working in Des Moines, IA and the two were married at Osceola Christian Church in January 1967. Lois regularly attended church and enjoyed serving and socializing with various women's groups. She was a faithful mother raising two children and loved her grandchildren. Lois is survived by son, Brian and his wife Brenda and grandchildren, Evan, Kenzie, and Dallas Sawyer; daughter, Brenda and her husband Loren Urwiler and grandchildren, Elijah and Caleb Urwiler. She is preceded in death by parents Ernest and Norma Winter and husband Dallas Sawyer. Visitation, Friday, 5-7PM at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel) Celebration of Life, Saturday, 10:30AM at the mortuary. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park Memorials can be directed to the family
