Lifetime member of VFW Post #2503, past Sr. Vice Commander, past Honor Guard Captain & member of the VFW State Color Guard (1993-94). He was a Master Mason (Blair, NE) & Scottish Rites 32 Deg. Lloyd Was born March 3, 1921 in Sullivan, IN & passed away August 21, 2009 at his home in Lakewood Estates, Blair, NE. He was preceded in death by: Wives: Lucille & Evelyn, Daughter: Kimberly Hare, Brothers: Denzil, Nathan & Leslie, Sister: Edith. He is survived by his Sons: Lloyd Jr., Raymond (Mari) & Bryan (Carla); Daughters: Karren Wonder & Sharren Turner; Step Daughter, Paula (Gene) Rutherford; Son-in-law, Joe Hare; Sister-in-law, Doris Willis; Brothers, Albert & Donald; Sister, Ann Gipple; Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & Great-Great Grandchildren; Many other relatives & friends. Funeral Service: Tues. (8-25-2009), 10:30 AM at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel). Visitation: Mon. after 4 PM, with family present 6-8 PM at Braman Mortuary. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
