Linda M. Maloney

MALONEY, Linda M. (Von Dollen) 9/15/1954 – 4/29/2022 Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend. Linda was born in Omaha,NE to the late John and Mildred Von Dollen on September 15, 1954. Linda passed away peacefullyat home in Omaha surrounded by her immediate loved ones on April 29, 2022. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her in-laws, Leo and Mildred Maloney; sister-in-law, Janet Sigerson and nephew, Denny Adler. Linda is survived by husband, Bob; daughters, Kelly and Karin; brother, Bob (Kathy) Von Dollen; brother-in-law, Jack Maloney; sister-in-law, Sue (Rick) Stanger; special friend, Linda Zimmerman; many other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends; various grand guinea pigs. Linda attended St. Bernard’s Catholic Grade School and graduated from Benson High School. Linda was married to Bob on May 10, 1974 (they almost made it to their 48th wedding anniversary). After the girls were born, Linda became a stay-at-home mom until both girls were in school full time. At that time, Linda worked at Keystone Pharmacy for several years and her last job was as a cafeteria worker/lunch lady at Kiewit Middle School. Linda enjoyed her retirement time at home with Bob and the girls, as well as endless shopping (Kohls, in particular) and garage sales. She was a great cook and enjoyed having people over for Nebraska football games and holidays. Linda was sweet and thoughtful and always made everyone feel welcomed. Linda loved stuffed animals; especially those that sang and moved around (unfortunately). Linda also loved the beach and the beauty of nature. She was fortunate enough to visit the Ozarks and Florida before she became too ill to travel. Linda will be missed by all those that she has left behind. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.
