Lillian M. Hunt

November 22, 1935 — September 7, 2013

Lillian Born 11/22/35 in Omaha. Graduated from Central High in 1954. Married Ken Josephson in “55, while working at Mutual Of Omaha. Had two Sons, Jim and Tom (Shelley) and one daughter Sherry (Dave), and survived by Her 95 year old Mother, One Step Son and one step Daughter and Grand and great Grand Children. She lived several years in the Miller Park area where She was in The Mothers Singers group and attended The Florence Christian Church. Divorced in ‘78 before going to Colorado to be with life long friend and second marriage to her present husband John. Returned with Husband in ‘84 to be close to parents with Her Mother still alive at 95. She was a most devoted and supportive Daughter to her Mother over the past several years!! She and Her Husband moved to a home in Washington county where they both enjoyed the country life for over 26 years! During the latter 10 years She enjoyed wearing Her red sequin cap that matched the color of their vintage ‘67 car they drove in the local area parades. Moved to Omaha in 2012 due to husband’s heart problems. As is her nature, she went all out to support both Her Mother and Her Husband in their health needs the last few years. Ironically, Her Husband’s health situation improved considerably, in June, just as She started to show symptoms of advanced cancers that prevented any chance for recovery!!! Everyone who knew Her would agree. She was a “Jewel Of A Person”!!! She also had a truly great voice equal to best in the recording business!! She was so big hearted and caring and would have made a great nurse, teacher or flight attendant. In addition to enjoying nature in the country, there were enjoyable trips to Colorado, The Black Hills, Vancouver, B. C., and Hawaii plus the Parades. Right now, the many flowers She planted around the house are such reminders of Her presence and desire to have flowers for everyone to enjoy. Her Husband often told Her how she was the answer to his prayers for a wife who would “Pull With Him”. Her last Valentine Card reads ”Our Hearts Were Meant To Pull Together”!! So True! Her Husband considers himself so fortunate to have had Her as His wife!! All these memories makes his Heart Ache beyond what words can say!!!
