Lila Lee Wallace passed away suddenly at home on March 3, 2025. She was born on July 20,1944 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to LaVon and Elizabeth Wallace. Lila attended Creighton University in Omaha and graduated in 1965 with a BSc in Nursing. She spent the next 35 years as a nurse caring for the physically and mentally ill. Lila was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish and part of their Prayer Shawl Ministry. Her hobbies included knitting, counted cross stitch, and reading.
Lila is predeceased by her husband, Robert Darling. Lila is survived by her sister, Lynda Gaidis (James) of Ellicott City, MD and nephews, Timothy (Carolyn) Gaidis of St. Louis, MO, Michael (Denise) Gaidis of Portland, ME, and niece, Katherine (Craig) Reeves of Annapolis, MD.

Graveside service will be 2pm., Friday, March 21, 2025 at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha, NE.
