Leslie is survived by her cherished daughters Savannah Smith, Shayley (husband Dakota) Feigenbutz and Sheyenne Smith; her grandbabies Lane and Levi Feigenbutz; her father Stanley Pederson; her loving brothers Shayne (wife Amye) Pederson and Lucas (wife Cristina) Pederson, along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother LuRay Pederson, her sister Sonja Keith, and her nephew Brock Pederson.
Leslie will be remembered for her drop everything for others attitude, her talent for karaoke and singing country music, and her love for horses and rodeos. Leslie was a beautiful, vivacious, and kind woman who never met a stranger. Her smile and laughter were contagious. Anyone who was lucky to meet Leslie knew how special and full of life she was. Leslie’s greatest accomplishments in life were her 3 girls and everyone around her knew it. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, from 4-7pm at the Oakland Community Building (614 Dr. Van Zee Rd., Oakland, IA 51560).
