Kathleen Ann Simon (McGinley) died peacefully at the age of 79 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to Ervin and Betty McGinley. She was married to her sweetheart Fredrick Simon for 58 years. They raised their 2 children in California and retired in Omaha to be closer to family.
Kathy is preceeded in death by her parents and brother, Michael. She is survived by her brother Patrick, husband Fred, daughter Desirae (Jeffrey), son Scott (Christina), 5 grandchildren Brendon, Cameron, Lauren, Erin, and Forrester, and 3 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aelyn, and Violet.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Omaha NE on Tuesday, August 13th at 10:30 AM.
There will be a Celebration of Life Open House at Oak Hills Country Club, Wednesday, August 14th from 6-9 PM.
