Kathy, age 57, died Friday, April 27, at her home in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended college at Creighton University and the University of North Carolina where she earned a Masters Degree in Biomechanics. She was active in a variety of community services throughout her life and, most recently, she was a volunteer at the Food Pantry sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Leon & Ruthanne O'Connor, one sister, Eileen, and her beloved little dog, a Maltese named Fred. A gathering of friends will be on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 2:00 PM, all at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel). In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Food Pantry at First Presbyterian Church, 216 S. 34 St. Omaha, NE 68131.
