Kate lived with her husband and family in Beatrice for 20 years while working as a nurse's aide at the Lutheran Hospital and worked at the Emporium clothing store. Jan. 8, 1928 ~ Oct. 26, 2012 She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ronald Nichols; siblings, Betty, Clifford, Bill, Lawrence, Lillian & Pauly. Kate is survived by her children, Roger F.
