SOCHA, Julia, age 94 of Omaha died Sunday at Bergan Mercy Medical Center She was born June 4, 1920 in Greeley County Nebraska, to Joe and Iota Bergantzel. A long time teacher in the Omaha Public Schools, she had a special place in her heart for children with learning disabilities. She is survived by two daughters Martha (Allen) Thomas and Marilyn (Gil) Caughlin, 6 grandchildren, Dawn Howard, Michael Woods, Patrick (Kim) Woods , Jeremy (Maureen) Wren, Josh Wren, Scott (Ruth) Kay. 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husbands Emil Socha and Ruben J. Ochsner. Visitation Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4-8:00PM with family present after 6:00PM at Braman Mortuary 72st Chapel.
