Julia J (Batenhorst) Brown

November 21, 1976 — April 17, 2022

Julia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend.Born in West Point, NE but grew up in Omaha and spent her whole life here except for a few years in Orlando, FL.It was there she created lasting memories going to the beach, theme parks and flea marketsShe was married to Jay for over 22 years and they had two amazing boys, Caleb and Jaxon, whom she loved deeply.Julia was a daddy’s girl but had a very special relationship with her mom who she talked to almost every day. They were best friends. Julia’s world was her relationships with all of her family and friends, continually pouring her heart into them. Her careers involved customer support and sales, a perfect fit for Julia. She was always patient and supportive and her smile made it easy for sales. She worked for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Ambassador Real Estate for over 15 years where she touched many lives.Julia had a heart of gold, always serving others and putting their needs before her own.As mentioned, her smile was contagious, it wasn’t difficult for her to make friends with nearly anyone. She had a passion for cooking and spending time in the kitchen and creating meals for family and friends. No one ever passed on anything Julia cooked. She loved gardening, trying DIY projects, collecting anything to do with dragonflies, cheering on the Husker football team, jamming to country music, sitting pool side and soaking up as much sun as possible. Julia will be profoundly missed by all those that she has left behind. Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
