Judy Ann Koenig
1/20/1950 – 5/29/2022
Judy passed peacefully from this life in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 29, 2022, after a steady decline in health. Judy was born in Falls City, NE and moved to Omaha to continue her formal education to become a Registered Nurse. She eventually landed her dream job at the VA Hospital, where she retired after 40 years of service in 2020. Judy had a gift for serving others. She loved her vets and took pride in caring for them. So, it came as no surprise that she passed away Memorial weekend.
Judy is survived by cousins Rhonda (Jim and their 3 children) Sedlacek, Keith Koenig, Theresa (Greg) Houck, Linda (Russ) Martig, Karla (Calvin) Bauermeister, John (Kim) Koenig and a host of other cousins and friends, a brother Harvey Koenig, nephew Josh (Allison and their 3 children) Koenig. Judy was known as “Mom Judy” to Alexandria, Cole, and Keith Sedlacek. She is preceded in death by her parents Hank and Frances Koenig, numerous aunts and uncles.
