Joseph Jay Taft, 42, of Omaha , NE passed away on 5/30/2024, surrounded by family. Joe was born on 4/06/1982 to Gary Taft and Maria Kim-Beal in Fort Sill, OK. After Joe graduated from Millard South High School in 2000, he obtained his TEFL certificate and went to teach English in South Korea. In 2014 he returned to Omaha and he began his career as an electrician. He had a heart of gold and volunteered his services to many people throughout the community. He is survived by his father, Gary Taft; mother, Maria Kim-Beal ( Richard Beal); siblings, Theresa Taft and James Taft ( nieces, Jayah Taft and Leah Taft).
Memorial Mass: Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church : 5801 Oakhill Dr., Omaha, NE 68137. Inurnment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 2300 S 78th St, Omaha, NE 68124, with a luncheon at church to follow Inurnment
