HOESER, Jonathan D. "Jon'
7/12/1994 - 12/18/2023

Jonathan ("Jon") Hoeser was born on July 12, 1994, in Salina, KS, to parents Ed and Kaylene Hoeser. Jon was the middle brother to David and Timothy. He attended Grand Island Senior High School and graduated in 2013. Growing up, he enjoyed collecting coins, playing sports, and adventuring with his two brothers and friends. Shortly after graduating, Jon proudly served his country in the US Army as an infantryman, completing basic training in Fort Benning, GA, and stationed in Fort Drum, NY. During his time at Fort Drum, Jon enjoyed many weekend trips to New York City and Canada with his battle buddies.

Jon returned to Nebraska after his honorable discharge in 2016. He attended college at the University of Nebraska-Omaha to study real estate and finance, graduating with his bachelor's degree in May 2020. Jon worked many real estate and finance jobs during and after school, with his dreams and aspirations to be an independent real estate investor. Those dreams came to fruition when he purchased a triplex in Omaha earlier this year. Jon's most recent work was with the US Army Corps of Engineers in the real estate division.

On a fall weekend, you would find Jon watching or attending a Nebraska football game and spending any other weekend with friends or family.
Jon was an uncle to Hopelynn, Saoirse, and Conrad and loved playing with his nieces and nephew. Jon enjoyed meeting new people and would strike up a conversation with anyone new he met. He proudly lived with his roommate Odie (his canine pal).

Jon is survived by his parents, Ed and Kaylene Hoeser; brothers: David Hoeser & wife Carrie, Tim Hoeser & wife Angela; nieces and nephew: Hopelynn, Saoirse, Conrad; many other relatives and friends.
