John A. "Whitey" Faust

John A. Faust 80, was born on Christmas Eve 1929, passed away on Thanksgiving Day November 25, 2010 after a long illness. He served proudly in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart . John and his family lived in Ankeny, IA. for 27 years. He sold Kenworth Trucks for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon of 44 years and his son Jeff. Survivors are daughter Pam Faust of Council Bluffs, son Jim and wife Carol Faust of Ankeny, Iowa and daughter Lori Faust whom he resided with for the past five years along with his 2 grandchildren Logan and Lillie Rose. Sister Marie Ruge of Norfolk, NE. Brother Danny and wife Cindy Faust of Lincoln, NE. John had six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. John or "Whitey" will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
