John Louis Horak was born August 22, 1934 to Louis Horak and Loretta Staehle in Omaha Nebraska.Known to many as Jack, he was an Army veteran. He marriedthe love of his life Elizabeth Davis in June of 1968. They built a life togetherand had 2 sons Kevin and Greg.He was a diesel mechanic at Kenworth and was very mechanically inclined.Jack was also very involved in his church serving in many different capacities over the years. He was happiest when he was tinkering in his garage, listening to music, being outside and spending time with his family.He was an amazing husband, father, grandpa and friend.His love for the Lord and his family was unwavering. Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beth Horak; Sons: Kevin (Lisa), Greg Horak; Grandchildren: Max, Samantha; Sister Irene Mathis; Many other relatives and friends.
