MARKER, Jody J. 4/28/1965 – 2/11/2019 Age 53 years of Omaha Jody Marker, the president of MJDESIGN/Build had 30+ years of experience in the building industry. He was driven & focused on working side by side w/ his employees & vendors. Dedicated to client satisfaction,Jody took utmost pride in his service-driven building business. His blend of design/build skills had helped him develop & grow. Jody attended Southeast Community College in Milford Ne. & he received his associates in drafting. Jody met his future wife Lori whileattending York High School, Probably beginning the year 1982 or so, He dated her for years,which seemed like “CENTURIES” before asking her to marry him on April 7, 1990. Jody was always a procrastinator. Jody & Lori were married 29years Together. They loved camping, fishing, listening to music bands & concerts together, Music was a HUGE asset of therapy to each of them & Plus going out for a cruise in his “71” Charger for ice cream on a hot summer day. Jody was an Extremely proud father of two daughters, Megan & Morgan Marker, thathe Loved More Than Life Itself, they had a Strong Silly Bond that once they got together they were three peas in a pod. Mom would be on the sidelines taking pics of these moments, She Loved seeing the happiness they Shared & Felt the Love Deeply in her Heart. He will be Missed Dearly by his Loving Family. Jody is survived by his Wife of 29 years, Lori Marker; Daughters: Megan Marker & fiancé Tyler McCarty, Morgan Marker; Brother Randy Stromberg; Sister Candi Lewis & husband Kenny; Niece and Nephew: Derek, Shawn, Matt, Zach, Sena. Celebration of Jody’s Life: Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 at 5:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service, All at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel) In lieu of flowers, memorials given to the family will be used in Jody’s memory at a later date.
