WHEELER, Jo Ann M. 9/12/1951 – 10/29/2017 Age 66 years of Omaha Jo Ann was preceded in death by son Bryan Wheeler; parents Elizabeth and Ervin Sr. Goodwin; brothers Ervin Jr., Richard, Howard, and John.She is survived by her husband Gary Wheeler; Son Jason Wheeler & wife Joni; Daughter-in-law Sasha Wheeler; Brothers Gary & George Goodwin; Grandchildren Gracie & Reid. Jo Ann was the matriarch figure to many, whether it was the neighborhood kids or the kids she taught at KinderCare, she treated the kids like they were her own. She was an expert at nurturing and caring for others and always thought of others before she thought of herself, even throughout her cancer treatment. Jo Ann was a great shopper which went hand-in-hand with her thoughtful and excellent gift giving. She loved spending time with her family both here in Omaha and in West Virginia. Jo Ann spent the last two years of her life traveling to new and exciting places and cherishing the moments she had with loved ones. Visitation: Thur.
