FAGIN, Jim B. Long time TV reporter, anchor and radio talk show host, Jim Fagin died December 2, 2013 at the age of 68 following a four year battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Reger Fagin; three adult children, daughters Cheri Fagin of Kemmerer, WY & Abby Fagin of Omaha; son B.J. Fagin & wife Michelle and their three children, Cale, Sophie & Tyler of Omaha; sister Becky Lemon, husband Jim of Sparks, NV; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Prior to working at WOWT, KFAB & KKAR in Omaha Jim was a news director at KFOR & KLIN in Lincoln. He also served as Senator J.J. Exon’s Press Secretary in Washington and retired last January as Senator Ben Nelson’s Communications Director.
