Remembering His Life Jerry LeRoy Beckwith was born March 19, 1935 to Henry and Bessie Beckwith in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He was one of four children to include one brother and two sisters. On November 21, 2022, Jerry LeRoy Beckwith was called back home at the age of 87 years. Jerry Beckwith was best described as a man who was outspoken, had a heart of gold, puts others before himself, loved his family, coffee, fishing, and traveling. He loved taking cruises and was able to see a lot of the world with his wife, Edith Beckwith, with whom he has joined in heaven. He was a retired Teamster and drove truck the majority of his life. He retired at the age of 63 because he didn’t think he would live past the age of 65; boy was he wrong. He lived such a full life and thankfully he was still in good health to enjoy it. He will be Remembered, Respected, Missed, and Loved. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Beckwith. his father, Henry Beckwith; mother, Bessie Beckwith; brother, Bob Beckwith; sister, Barbara Auch and sister, Beverly Bieker. He was survived by his four children, eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren with one deceased. Memorial Service: Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11 am with visitation starting at 10 am, all at Braman Mortuary 72nd St. Chapel, 1702 N 72nd St., Omaha, NE.
