Jeanine Lendt

LENDT, Jeanine K. 6/5/1935 – 3/20/2019 Age 83 years of Omaha Jeanine was born in June 5, 1935 in Elliot,Iowa. She met and married her high school sweetheart Ken Lendt. They and their three children moved from Iowa to Omaha Nebraska to enable them to attended leading edge schools and medical programs that enabled their children to grow and succeed in life. Jeanine joined Union Pacific Railroad as an accounting clerk and worked there for the rest of her adult employed life providing for the family. Jeanine was a creative cook who brought unique food and dishes to events and expanded the palates of many people. Both Ken and Jeanine would visit with family and friends to play games including cards, often late into the evening on weekends. Throughout her life she had many pets and cared for animals, including them in family photo albums. Humor was always part of the family and Jeanine loved to laugh out loud and enjoyed comedies and live shows. Travel was a regular event and even when money was tight a road trip to a unique location was always to be had each year. In the 90s Jeanine and Ken moved to Hawaiian Village to their dream location on a lake and spent many years entertaining family and friends. Jeanine and Ken moved to assisted living later in life and were some of most well liked people among other residents. Jeanine was preceded in death by her husband Ken Lendt; She is survived by her Children: Steve (Val) Lendt, Andy (Vicki) Lendt, Anne Lendt; Grand Daughter Jessica Moore; Sister Marvelene Sturgeon; Brother Laverne (Jeanie) Kelsay; Many other relatives and friends.
