It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jarrod Lucas Simon, age 40, of Omaha, Nebraska.
Jarrod was born on July 31, 1984, raised in Springfield, Nebraska. Throughout his life, he was known for his hardworking spirit and dedication. A skilled plumber, Jarrod was well-versed in many trades and took pride in his work. However, his greatest passion was his role as a father. He loved being a dad to his daughter, Elsie Simon, and cherished every moment he spent with her. She was the light of his life, and he took immense joy in watching her grow.
In addition to his love for his daughter, Jarrod had a deep appreciation for motorcycles. He found solace and freedom in the open road, often taking rides to clear his mind and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
Jarrod was a loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, and great friend. Jarrod was preceded in death by his father, Robert Simon. He is survived by his mother, Rosana Juergensen (Bryan), his siblings: Jacob Simon (Kim), Jessica Stratton (Benjamin), and Nina Bloom (Alex), nieces and nephews: Ellison, Amaris, Kyler, Noah, Theo, Jaxson, and Henry, aunt and uncle: John and Mickie Simon, Sylvio and Kim Rebolloso. Many other relatives and friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Jarrod’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Braman Mortuary (Millard Chapel), 6505 S. 144th, Omaha, Nebraska 68137. In lieu of flowers, memorials given to the family will be used in Jarrod's memory at a later date.
Jarrod's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His dedication, laughter, and unwavering love for his daughter will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Jarrod. You will be missed beyond measure.
