Janel C. Casebier, age 44, passed away on February 5, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Janel was born in Biloxi, MS on July 2, 1974, to Paul D. and Janice M. (O'Hara) Shulaw. She worked as a medical receptionist at Mid City OB-Gyn in Omaha. Janel is survived by her father; Paul, mother; Janice, daughter; Alexis, son; Dakota, sister; Sara L. Jones (David), aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A celebration of Janel's life will be held on Sunday, February 17, at 12 pm, with family receiving friends at 11 am, all at Braman Mortuary 72nd St. Chapel. Janel was a very compassionate, loving and caring person who loved people with all of her heart. Janel was strong in her love for Jesus and her walk. She will be missed by her daughter, Alexis and her son, Dakota, family here and in Texas and California. She truly did leave her mark on all of us who knew her and loved her.
