PERRY, Sr. James G. PFC James G. Perry, Sr., "A" Company, 1st Battalion, served his country and later joined the Omaha Police Dept. and retired as Lieutenant James G. Perry remaining active in the VFW and Fraternal Order of Police. In retirement he was a great husband, father, grandfather, friend, amateur inventor, professional do-it-your-selfer and blogger (jamesgperrysr.wordpress.com\home\). He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Nellie; sisters, Martha & Peggy. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Therese; sons, James Jr. (Carol) Perry of Oceanside, CA, Dennis (Irene) Perry, Thomas (Debbie) Perry, Don (Gina) Perry all of Las Vegas, NV, Pat Perry & Brenda of Fremont, NE, John (Erin) Perry of Omaha; daughter, Robin (Mitch) Miller of Malvern, IA; grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Curtis, Corina, Tom Jr., Olivia, Brad, Matt and one on the way. As well as great grandson, Christian; sisters, Joyce, Winnie, Judy, Linda, Nellie, Julie & Debbie; numerous relatives and friends. Visitation, Tuesday, 5-8PM with a 7:00PM Prayer Service at Holy Name Catholic Church (2901 Fontenelle Blvd.) Memorial Mass, Wednesday, 12:00 PM at the church. Inurnment, St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery
