Jim, 71, was born in Carroll Iowa to Patricia and Maurice Ford.He moved to Scott City Kansas where he graduated from Scott City High School.Jim then attended Phillips University until he enlisted in the U. S Army in 1970.He achieved the rank of Sergeant and proudly served his country in Vietnam.After his tour in Vietnam, he returned back to Iowa where he married Jan Robbins in 1972.After getting married, they ultimately settled in Omaha Nebraska. Jim retired in 2010 after working as a restaurant manager at several different restaurants.His hobbies included camping, fishing, hunting and playing golf. Jim is survived by his Children: Audra (Mike) Ratliff, Alex (Amy) Ford, Adam (Jill) Ford; Brother Jeff (Kelly) Ford; 8 Grandchildren; Many other relatives and friends.
