James Thomas Carney passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. “Tom” was born in Newton, MA on Oct 8, 1933 and was the son of the late Virginia and James Carney. He was married to the late Beverly Jean Schweem for 22 years. Tom was passionate about snow skiing, sailing, crossword puzzles, cribbage, and canning. His dill pickles won several competitions and were extremely popular with family and friends. Tom is survived by his three children Linda Dufresne, Jeff (Elida) Carney, and Robyn (Phil) Corbaley as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. Burial service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
