TUCKER, Ida Oleen age 94 years of Omaha went to be with the Lord March 25, 2009. Ida graduated fromImmanuel School of Nursing in 1937.She went on to work at Immanuel Hospital becoming Head Nurse in the Intensive Care and Cardiac Care units.Ida continued to volunteer at the hospital and the American Red Cross well into her 80’s.Ida will never stop nursing!She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Tucker.Ida is survived by her sons, Scott Tucker, wife Shirleen; Michael Tucker, wife Katy; daughter, Marilee Sellers, husband Jerry; sister, Edna Barrett; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation: Friday, 6-8 PM, at Braman Mortuary (72nd St. Chapel)Graveside Service, Saturday, 10:00 AM, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.Memorial Service, Saturday, 11:00 AM, Immanuel Lutheran Church (2725 N. 60th St.) with a luncheon to follow.Memorials can be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Foundation or to the Skyline Manor Nursing Home Foundation.
