Henrietta Elizabeth (Jurgens) Hartge Age 88 passed to be with God in peace, on October 13. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Larry (Lawrence) Hartge. Henrietta is survived by her two sons, Randy and Lawrence and their families, including 3 grand children and 2 great grand children. Henrietta (aka Julena, Jeannie) devoted her life to lovingly enriching the lives of others – including: her children, her nieces and nephews, several foster children, many preschool children & their parents as a teacher, international students that lived with Henrietta & Larry, those in several care homes where she played her keyboard and sang for them (along with her husband), others at her assisted living facility, and then others at her nursing home. She was the last surviving child of the Alma (Ruhs) and George Jurgens family of Gibbon, Nebraska . Visitation will be at 11am on Monday, October 16, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hildreth Nebraska, her funeral will be at 1pm, which will be followed by a “friends and family” gathering with food. She will be buried next to her husband in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Hildreth, where her parents, and other family members are buried.
