KOZA, Helen Marie, Age 91, of Lincoln and formerly of Omaha, died on February 17, 2014. She was born on August 23, 1922, in Abie, NE, to Frank Bartunek and Rose (Stara) Bartunek. A farmer’s daughter who attended the University of Nebraska on a Regents’ Scholarship in math, she became a military wife for 26 years who traveled widely and raised seven children. Helen was active in her church, serving in a variety of capacities including teacher, bookkeeper and administrator. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, son Thomas, daughter-in-law Debra Brownson, grand daughter Carly Koza. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Koza (Bogdan Turek); sons Robert Koza, John (Diane) Koza, David (Debra) Koza, Stephen (Melanie) Koza, and James Koza; and two grandchildren.
