Harry R. Owen, age 69, passed away at his home on June 3, 2019. Harry was born to Leonard and Gloria Owen in Shenandoah, Iowa on June 20, 1949. Harry was a graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha, and received his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Harry was a civil engineer ,bridge inspector, for the city of Omaha for 20 years. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Owen; wife, Helen (Byrne) Owen; sons, Everett (Kristi) Owen and Lowell (Aimee) Owen both of Omaha; sisters, Laura Owen and Janella (Eldon) Ashbaugh both of Colorado; granddaughters, Lenora, Rosalind and Margot Owen; grandson, Asher Owen. Harry is preceded in death by his father Leonard Martin Owen. Memorials to be directed to CHI Hospice or the Experimental Aircraft Association. Visitation with the family Friday, June 7, 2019 from 5-7pm. At Braman Southwest Chapel Funeral Service Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00am. At Braman Southwest Chapel.
