HARRIS, Harry R. 59 years of Omaha. Harry came into this world in Womack, Missouri on 11-19-1948 and returned to his maker 10-24-2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Goldie Harris and two brothers Freeman and Ray Harris. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Rita (Lubischer) Harris, three daughters Amy Meek, Heather and Holly Harris and 2 grandchildren Amanda and Drayven. Also, sisters, Freda (Ben) Cade, Arlene Woods, Karen (Donnie) Boyer, brothers Roy (Evelyn) and Tony Harris. Sister-in-laws, Margaret (James) Hemenway, Ann (Gary) Clark and Marilyn (John) Smyth. Brothers-in-laws, John (Colleen) Lubischer, David (Paulette) Lubischer and Richard (Dianne) Lubischer, as well as many other family members. He is also remembered by many friends, co-workers and fellow fans of the Omaha Beef. His life in Omaha was spent working for Alegent Health for 20 years, as well as his 10 year devotion to the Omaha beef. Visitation for Harry will be Sunday, 3-7 PM at Braman Mortuary (72nd St. Chapel) No public services are scheduled. Memorials can be directed to the family.
