DUNCAN, Harry C. age 86 years of Omaha, passed away February 27, 2011. Harry graduated from Northeast High, Kansas City, MO in 1942. In 1943 he enlisted in U. S. Navy serving as a Pharmacist Mate 1st Class on Leyte and Okinawa. He received a BS degree from Doane College and a Masters from Kansas State University. He taught biology and was science supervisor for Omaha Public Schools, retiring in 1987. He volunteered at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge. He is preceded in death by his mother, Reeta Duncan & sister, Mary Lee Wynn. Harry is survived by Phyllis, wife of 61 years; daughters, Kathy (Rick) Rogo of Ocala, FL, Sue (David) Dodson of Lincoln, NE, Sandy (Kevin) Hopkins of McFarland, WI, Caryl (Chad) Boyer of Verona, WI; grandchildren, Danielle Rogo, Will & Tess Hopkins, Kelsey & Laura Knutsen. Memorial Service, Saturday, (3-12-2011) 11:00AM at Presbyterian Church of the Master (10710 Corby Circle) Inurnment, Private at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials can be directed to the church, Alzheimer's Assoc. or the National Audubon Society.
