HELD, Greg November 6, 1962 ~ February 29, 2016 Age 53 of Omaha Greg was Born November 6, 1962 to Vernon and Lois (Poppe) Held in Neligh, NE.He graduated High School from Wisner-Pilger Jr. Sr. High School.Greg lived most of his life in Northeast Nebraska, with years in Florida as a child.He lived much of his young adulthood in Seattle WA, where he met and married his love, Joy Reynolds on August 9, 1985.In an effort to be closer to family, they moved back to the Omaha area. Preceded in death by: Father Vernon, Mother Lois, Sister JoAnn, Brother Jeff, and Step Father Wayne Broekemeier.He is survived by Wife Joy, Daughter Nichole (Bobby) Ivey of Omaha; GrandchildrenLena, Parker, Max, and Madelynn; Brothers Les (Janice) Held of Sacramento, CA, Jay (Jeni) Held of Garretson, SD, and Scott Held of Sioux Falls, SD; Mother and Father in-Law Jack and Carolyn Reynolds of Redmond, Wa.,Brother-in-Law Ernie Reynolds of Redmond, Wa; Step siblings Jean (Gene) Mauer of Norfolk, NE, Gayle (Jane) Broekemeier of Howells, NE, Marlon (Susan) Broekemeier of Norfolk NE, and Brian (Nancy) Broekemeier of Omaha, many nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to count. Greg loved spending his time with his family and friends, fishing, throwing horseshoes, and watching or playing all sports, especially his Huskers.
