Gert was funny, quick-witted, and always had a smart alleck remark or great joke on the tip of her tongue. She got along with most everyone she met and always saw the good in the people. Her and Stan used to spend a lot of time on the dance floor until they put up their dancing shoes to raise their family. Gert was a wonderful caregiver to many throughout her life, especially to her husband Stan. She loved to spend her free time at the casino or at the 840 club drinking a cold beer and having a cigarette or two. Her family thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with her and were so blessed to care for her until the end. Due to the current pandemic, we will plan to have a celebration of life at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to family for later designation.
