Pfeffer, George A. 3/14/1946 - 3/14/2022 George A. Pfeffer, of Omaha died peacefully the morning of his 76th birthday, Monday, March 14, 2022, in Lincoln, Nebraska.He was a long time resident of South Omaha, attending Castelar Elementary,later graduating from Omaha South High School.George served in the Army from November 1965 to November of 1968.He served in Korea during the Vietnam War as a member of the Rescue and Evacuation Division. George married Kathleen, his wife of 50 years, on August 28, 1971. Hewas often considered a shy child, but his social side was brought out when he became a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge.Later, he also became a member of Scottish Rite, Knights of St. Andrews, and the Tangier Shrine Arab Patrol.He enjoyed working at the Shrine Circus as a representative of these groups. George loved baseball, football and cars.His favorite teams were the Cubs, Royals, and Huskers.George never passed up stopping by car shows and recently enjoyed a show at SAC Air Museum. Those who knew George well will miss his smile, his "Tom Selleck" good looks, his playful personality, and genuine compassion for others. Visitation: Sunday, March 20 from 2-4 pm with a Masonic Service at 3:30 pm, all at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel Funeral Service: Monday, March 21 at 11:30 am, also at Braman Southwest.
