George E. Hardage
Saturday, April 29th, 1944 ~ Monday, November 25th, 2024
Monday, November 25, 2024, George Hardage went to be with our Savior! What do you say about someone who was your hero your whole life? Pops, you were awesome in so many ways! Thank you for the phenomenal example of life that you modeled for me since childhood! A memory I will always cherish as a young boy was watching you go down to the altar to give your life to Christ. Observing you following Jesus your whole life set my path towards doing the same. That was the best decision you ever made for our family! You had so many great characteristics! You were always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. I loved talking politics with you and hearing all the insight you had to share on leadership. You were a phenomenal golfer who could hit the ball farther than anyone I’ve ever seen. No one could talk sports and quote stats like you. It was always so much fun to listen to you! You were the best story teller I ever heard. Your stories made me feel like I was there having the experience in real life. Your laughter was contagious! Man, were there some funny times. You made me laugh so hard sometimes that my stomach ached.
Thank you Pops for 57 fantastic years of memories that I will cherish forever! Now you won’t experience anymore confusion, no more falls, and no more pain. You made it home to be with Jesus and are reunited with Mom dancing and celebrating on the streets of gold. Enjoy a nice warm turkey dinner in Heaven. We’ll be at the table together again someday. Love you Pops - You were the very best!
