FOSTER, Gary A. March 6, 1943 ~ December 20, 2015 Age 72, Lifelong Nebraska Resident He is survived by his wife, Betty of Omaha, daughter Ann Wilson of Omaha, Son Geof Foster of Chicago, IL, sister Betty June Kent of Lincoln, a niece, a nephew and a great-nephew. Gary fought his battle with bone cancer, with persistence and determination.He was a gentle, quiet man who loved to fish in Nebraska and Colorado.Family was very important, and he was proud of all accomplishments they have made.He traveled three times with his wife to Alaska, cruising and visiting ports.Many family trips were taken with his daughter’s and son’s families to Rocky Mountain National Park.These were pure enjoyment for him, fishing, seeing wild animals and scenery all with his family. In Omaha, he worked for District 66 Conference Center after retiring from working at the Grand Island Education Administration building. A Memorial Service will be held in January 2016 with interment following in summer 2016.
