ADELSON, Gary L. December 19, 1940 ~ April 26, 2018 Age 77 years of Omaha Gary grew up on a farm in Swedehome, Nebraska and attended school District #70, a one room school house west of Swedehome and later graduated from Stromsburg High School in 1958. Gary married the love of his life, Alice on September 5, 1961 in Central City, NE and they later moved to Ft. Collins, CO before eventually residing in Millard, NE. Gary Worked as a truck driver for Fucinaro Excavating and is an Honorary Retired Member of Teamsters Local 554. Gary’s interests were Cars, Boats, Tinkering and Gardening. Gary is Preceded in death by: Wife, Alice Matthes Adelson; Parents, Lloyd and Irene Adelson; Son, Kurt Adelson and Brother, Terry Adelson Survived by: Son, Craig (Wendy) Adelson of Omaha, NE; Grandson, Corey (Kiley) Adelson; Step Grandsons, Garrett Ross and Daegan Page of Omaha, NE; Siblings, Sandra (Grant) Gibbs of Carmel, IN, Daryl (Linda) Adelson of Seward, NE and Loree Adelson of Waverly, NE; 2 Nieces, 1 Nephew; Aunt, Carol Petersen of Stromsburg, NE and many other relatives & Friends VISITATION: Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 5-7:00 P.M. at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel CELEBRATION OF GARY’S LIFE: Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel Interment: Swede Home Cemetery, Swedehome, NE
