RUSSELL, Floyd L. 12/4/1931 – 4/28/2019 Age 87 years of Omaha Floyd Lincoln Russell was born on December 4, 1931 to the union of the late Ezell Russell , Sr. and Alberta (Craig) Russell.He was the third child of nineteen children. Floyd was educated at Denverside grade schools, Hughes Quinn, Lincoln High School, all of East St. Louis, Illinois.He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army and was stationed in England.He was a ranken student graduate, St. Louis, Missouri.He did independent auto contractor work.Floyd was employed at McDonald Douglas where he worked on airplanes in St. Louis, Missouri. Floyd was preceded in death by longtime companion, Barbara Clay; He is survived by his Children: Sandra, Debra, Phyllis, Gwendolyn, K'asandra, Floyd Jr., Cortez, Phillip; Siblings: Annie, Henrietta, Roberta, Maybelle, Charles, Joann, Nina, Brenda; A host of grandchildren & great grandchildren. Celebration of Floyd’s Life: Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10:30 am at Braman Mortuary (72 st. Chapel) with visitation one hour prior.
